Twins Beat Mariners 5-3

And so the losing streak continues. The Seattle Mariners have now lost five games in a row, with tomorrow their last chance to grab seven wins in the month of July.

Doug Fister pitched five innings, giving up two home runs and five runs altogether (although only two were earned). Jim Thome and Alexi Casillas both homered, Casillas for the first time this season. For the Mariners, Russell Branyan bagged a couple doubles and Chone Figgins continued his impressive offensive streak by grabbing three hits. Of course, he also got caught stealing and made an error so...

On to tomorrow and King Felix. Please pitch well, El Rey.
