AD Isidro Metapán, from El Salvador, face the Seattle Sounders tonight at Qwest Field in CONCACAF Champions League play. If you're curious as to what exactly CONCACAF Champions League is, check out my article from yesterday, in which I write many, many words on how the tournament works. For tonight, we're just going to focus on the game ahead. Tune in to FSC at 7:00 PT to watch, or if you're in the Seattle area, listen to Arlo White on 97.3 Kiro.
Lineups, courtesy of Sounder at Heart:
Seattle: Keller, Marshall, Graham, Riley, Vagenas, Gonzalez, Montaño, Seamon, Nyassi, Levesque, Jaqua
Bench: Boss, Parke, Wahl, Alonso, Montero, Zakuani, Estrada
Metapán: Alfaro, Alvarado, Prado, Aquino, Menendez, Jimenez, Mejia, Umana, Suarez, Canales, Flores
Bench: Uncertain
Sounders might not be rolling out their first team in the beginning of the match, but at least they're on the bench. Leo Gonzalez returns from his yellow-card accumulation suspension. Kasey Keller starts in goal, so perhaps the Sounders have learned from LA Galaxy's 4-1 loss to the Puerto Rico Islanders, when LA chose to start their second string keeper.
Stay tuned to see how it all unfolds...
