Washington Huskies: Women Look For Fourth Straight Against Riverside

Washington began a three game win streak on the road and has a chance to extend it to four today at Hec Ed with 4-2 UC Riverside in town.

Yet unfortunately, they will do so without the services of 6-foot-4 center Regina Rogers who is still out with a hamstring injury.

Key statistical battleground: turnovers

The Huskies have gone through stretches where they've turned the ball over on a high percentage of their possessions and forcing opponents into turnovers has been something of a strength for Riverside this season. They've won the turnover battle in wins thus far this season and will push opponents into the 20s.

Key players:

Brittany Waddell, G/F (5-foot-10, Sr.)

Waddell is the team's leading scorer (10.3 ppg) and Riverside will look for her a large portion of their possessions. She is also averaging nearly 2 steals per game.

Alyssa Morris, G (5-foot-10, Sr.)

Morris is just ahead of Waddell with exactly 2 steals a game in addition to being the second-leading scorer (9.5 ppg) as well as the team's leading rebounder (5.2 rpg). She also shoots 50% from the three point line (7-for-14) on the season.
