WSU Vs. Colorado: Connor Halliday Takes Majority Of Practice Reps On Tuesday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington State Cougars returned to the practice field Tuesday after taking Monday off and Connor Halliday took the majority of reps at quarterback.

Halliday started last week in place of the injured Jeff Tuel and while Mike Leach is mum on the situation, the fact Halliday took the majority of first team snaps on Tuesday might indicate he will start against Colorado on Saturday.

It's unknown whether or not Tuel's limited reps indicate he is still working back from injury or if he's been passed on the depth chart. Tuel suffered an apparent knee injury against Eastern Washington and did not practice last week. Halliday and Tuel were both listed as the first string quarterback on this week's depth chart with an "or" separating the two.
