Freshman Gabe Marks continued his strong fall camp with another highlight play on Thursday.
Freshman wide receiver Gabe Marks has been the star of Washington State's fall camp thus far and he continued to make plays Thursday.
WSU went through a short practice Thursday, which included a 36-play scrimmage. Just as he has time-and-time before, Marks made the play of the day. He caught a short screen pass then with some nifty jukes and cuts, took it 70 yards for the touchdown.
While Marks had another strong day, fellow wide receiver Gino Simone left practice and did not return after taking a big hit from safety Deone Bucannon.
Even though Mike Leach hasn't named a starting quarterback yet, Jeff Tuel continues to get the reps with the No. 1 offense. He was sharp again during Thursday's scrimmage.
Jeff Tuel was 7-of-12 for 124 yards and a TD in today's short scrimmage. Halliday was 6-10 for 66 yards, a TD and an INT.
