Washington State will make the trip down to beautiful San Diego, California this weekend to take on the San Diego State Aztecs in a non-conference battle. Despite not being a part of a BCS conference, the Aztecs are a solid football team set on making a statement against a Pac-12 foe. Here is all of the game day information:
Kickoff: 6:30 EDT / 3:30 PST
Stadium: Qualcomm Stadium; 54,000 capacity
Television: Mountain West Network
Series History: WSU leads all-time series history 1-0. The only meeting came in 2007 as the Cougars won easily 45-17.
Opening Lines: Washington State comes in as 5.5 point favorites.
As for the game itself, it should actually be a pretty competitive matchup. The Cougars will be looking to improve their record to 3-0 on the season as they prepare for conference play. As for the Aztecs, a win over a BCS conference opponent would be big for first-year head coach Rocky Long and his program.
