Jim Moore Leaves The Seattle PI With A Bang

Local sports columnist, Jim Moore, also known as "The Go 2 Guy" penned his last column for the Seattle PI last night. He left his loyal readers with some funny antecdotes including a run-in with Gary Payton after failing to get a quote for a story during the 1996 NBA playoffs:

"Ya know what, Gary, I'm sick of your (bleep),"

Payton was seated, tying his shoes. He stood up, got right in my face and said:

"So whattaya gonna do about it?"

"Ya know, Gary, you've got a little toothpaste in the corner of your mouth," I said, pointing to the corner of his mouth. (Via: Seattle PI)

Read the column to find out what ended up happening to Moore.

Though Moore is now officially done with the Seattle PI, he will continue to write his column for ESPN Seattle at mynorthwest.com. You can also listen to him on the radio every afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle with Kevin Calabro.
