Washington State Vs. Colorado Score Update: Cougars Down 20-17 Heading Into Fourth

The Washington State Cougars and Colorado Buffaloes each scored seven points in the third quarter, and the Cougars trail the Buffaloes 20-17 heading into the fourth quarter. The Cougars will need to score in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Colorado received the second-half kickoff and used a balanced drive of passes and runs to cover 79 yards. The Buffaloes drove down the field and scored on a four-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Hansen to Toney Clemons.

Cougars quarterback Marshall Lobbestael engineered a huge drive of his own on the following possession. Lobbestael went 7-of-8 with only one incompletion to put points on the board. Lobbestael connected with receiver Jared Byers on an 11-yard pass on the drive's final play, bringing the Cougars within three points at 20-17. The play was Byers' first career touchdown.

Washington State held Colorado to a have the ball heading into the fourth quarter.
