Boise State is favored by 6.5 points, but a late-season surge by Steve Sarkisian's squad could have them ready to pull off an upset on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The No. 15 Boise St. Broncos will go for their fourth-straight bowl victory when they take on the No. 23 Washington Huskies in the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas on Saturday.
The Broncos (10-2, 7-1 Mountain West Conference) have won the last two Maaco Bowls against Utah and Arizona State by a combined 55 points, but face stiffer competition against a Washington team that closed its season with four conference wins in five games, including upsets over Oregon State and Stanford.
The Huskies (7-5, 5-4 Pac-12), who finished fifth in the Pac-12, are coming off a disappointing loss to in-state rival Washington State in their final game of the regular season. A win over the Broncos on Saturday would give the Huskies their highest win total in a season since they went 8-4 in 2001.
Kickoff is slated for 12:30 p.m. PT at Sam Boyd Stadium and the game will be televised on ESPN.
