The Pac-12 is going to be a tough conference during the 2012-13 athletic calendar, especially when it comes to football. They have three teams that have made the 2012 college football preseason rankings, and another just outside the top-25, meaning that college coaches around the country are showing their respects to the Pac 12 in the preseason coaches poll.
The USC Trojans are the top-ranked Pac-12 school, sitting at No. 3 behind LSU and Alabama, but the Ducks aren't too far behind, sitting in the No. 5 spot this preseason. The Stanford Cardinal are ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll, while the Washington Huskies got a lot of votes, but not enough to crack the top 25, currently residing in the 26th spot in the preseason rankings.
It's already setting up to be a terrific year in Pac-12 football.
