UW Running back Chris Polk could be selected by the Denver Broncos in today's 2nd Round.

With the first round of the 2012 in the book, plenty of local players still remain on the board. Mostly notable of which, is Washington RB Chris Polk.

Polk, who concluded his career at U-Dub as one of the most prolific backs in school history, could see that change today, as an updated mock draft by CBS Sports' Pat Kirwan has the Husky RB getting selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2nd round.

Other teams possibly needing running backs include the Seattle Seahawks, the St. Louis Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the Broncos are the only team who are believed to be taking a back in round two - although, as we saw yesterday, anything can happen.

Polk has also been projected by CBS Sports' Rob Rang to be selected in the third round by the Detroit Lions.
