NCAA Basketball Schedule, TV Times And More: Washington And Washington St. Battle For Hardwood Apple Cup

Gonzaga, Seattle U, Washington and Washington St. are all in action this weekend. Here are their schedules and TV times for their games this weekend.

Jan 13, 2012 - This weekend of college hoops in the Northwest begins Friday night at the Key Arena. Cameron Dollar's Redhawks host Utah Valley St.. This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season. Seattle U lost to the Wolverines, 77-72 last weekend in Utah. Despite coming up short against Washington, Seattle U stayed competitive against a more talented and athletic team on Tuesday. This experience will serve them well in their rematch against Utah Valley St..

The Gonzaga Bulldogs continue West Coast Conference play in a road game against Loyola Marymount. The Zags will battle the Lions for control of second place of the conference after losing a critical rivalry game to St. Mary's, 83-62 on Thursday. Center Robert Sacre was 1-for-7 from the field with four points and three rebounds in the losing effort. Mark Few needs a better performance from his big man to avoid another upset this Saturday.

The hardwood Apple Cup of 2012 kicks off this weekend with the Washington Huskies hosting their cross-state rivals, the Washington St. Cougars this Sunday. The Huskies look to come out and dominate the Cougars after a shaky performance against Seattle U on Tuesday. Ken Bone's Cougars need this win to avoid digging themselves into a 1-4 conference record. Washington St. won both regular season match-ups against the Huskies last season before losing to Washington in the Pac-10 tournament.

Here is the complete schedule of Washington's college basketball teams through Sunday:

Friday

Utah at Seattle U 7:10 p.m. (Radio: 710 ESPN)

Saturday

Gonzaga at Loyola Marymount 5:00 p.m. (Tape Delay, ROOT Sports will air game at 9:00 p.m.)
