Washington Huskies 'An Arrogant Group' Says Eastern Washington's Brandon Kaufman

Stay connected for news and updates

Good pull quotes are the spice of the college football life. And the Eastern Washington Eagles are, as a whole, an excellent quote. From Bo Levi Mitchell's bulletin board material to a few of the post-game quotes, the Eagles did their best to add storylines and sub-plots to Saturday's game. That's before even mentioning what the Eastern Washington did on the field, nearly upsetting Washington at Husky Stadium.

And after the game, the smack talk continued. Eastern Washington wide receiver Brandon Kaufman went straight for the jugular with this little dandy.

"It makes me feel empty," he said. "We’re a good football team and we should be respected. They didn’t respect us at all. They’re an arrogant group."

Via John Blanchette with a h/t to Bob Condotta.

Of course, there is the scoreboard taunt, but after Washington's performance on Saturday, that might not even work. Let's just file this one away for a few years, until the Eagles play the Huskies again in 2014.
