Washington Vs. Hawaii Score Update: Huskies Up 28-14 At Halftime

The Washington Huskies had a tremendous first half of action against the Hawaii Warriors and lead the Warriors 28-14. Washington has racked up 370 yards of total offense already and still have 30 minutes of football to play.

The Huskies went to work in the first quarter, posting three touchdowns in the period. The first two plays of the game were huge passes from quarterback Keith Price to receiver Austin Seferian-Jenkins for completions of 30 yards and 47 yards. Washington got to the Warriors' two-yard line as a result and needed only one more play, a two-yard rush by running back Chris Polk, to get the score with under two minutes gone by in the game.

Washington recovered a fumble on the Warriors' following drive at their own five-yard line. The Huskies drove 95-yards to post their second score, capped by a ten-yard pass from Price to Jermaine Kearse. Price found Kearse for another score in the later in the period on a 20-yard completion.

The Warriors put together a better second quarter after being held scoreless in the first. Sterling Jackson scored on a one-yard rush with 6:19 to go in the period. Hawaii's defense also contributed with a pick off of Price at the one-yard line and a 99-yard return by Richard Torres.

Price countered by leading his team down the field on the next drive and scoring on a 31-yard strike to Devin Aguilar. Price has 272 yards, three touchdowns and one interception on 13-of-17 passing. Aguilar, meanwhile, leads the Huskies receivers with 126 yards and one touchdown on four receptions.

Hawaii will get the ball to start the second half.
