NCAA Bracket 2011: Upsets Missing From Friday March Madness Action

We're about halfway through day two of March Madness and the action has slowed to a crawl during the break. After a wild start to the day on Thursday -- four of the first five games were decided in the final moments -- day two has been a bit more slow-paced, though there has been a few spectacular moments. Upsets are missing from the second day of the NCAA Tournament, though, as every higher-seeded team has prevailed thus far on Friday. Is your NCAA Tournament bracket alive and well today? Let's find out with a look back at the early scores.

In the morning, Texas hung on to fight off a pesky Oakland team in an 85-81 win. Michigan turned a five-point halftime lead into a 30-point win over Tennessee in what may have been Bruce Pearl's final game as coach of the Volunteers. The Wolverines also managed to become the first team in NCAA Tournament history to win a game without hitting a free throw. Villanova and George Mason brought the house down after a slow start to the day as Mason took over in the final minute to beat the Wildcats, 61-57. Arizona also pulled out a close one, surviving Memphis to advance with a 77-75 win.

Notre Dame pulled away in the second half after letting Akron hang around, taking home a 69-56 win. In the taking care of business department, Duke crushed Hampton to advance, 87-45. Kyrie Irving did play for the Blue Devils, coming off the bench to score a game-high 14 points.

Currently in progress:

Florida State leads Texas A&M midway through the second half, 34-31.
Ohio State is up big on UTSA late in the first half, 36-17
