Angelo Chol Visits Washington, Set To Announce Decision On Thursday

Four-star power forward Angelo Chol visiting Washington this weekend, taking in the Huskies’ win over Stanford with Tony Wroten and Hikeem Stewart. Wroten and Stewart are already signed, sealed and delivered in Lorenzo Romar’s class of 2011, but are working hard to lock-up Chol, a game-charger at power forward. From all reports, Chol enjoyed his time, and is set to announce his college decision to the world on Thursday.

Though Romar put together a solid 2011 recruiting class, Chol could be the cherry on top. With Stewart and Wroten a formidable tandem on the perimeter, Chol has the potential to give the Huskies an immediate boost in the low block, especially with Matthew Bryan-Amaning gone after this year. It’s no wonder Romar has been after Chol so hard, securing his final visit before he makes a decision.

Chol’s list of schools looks like a who’s who of basketball powers, with the Huskies joining North Carolina, Kansas, Arizona and Alabama. If you ask Stewart, though, the Huskies are in for some good news on Thursday.
