De'Anthony Thomas Sure Looks Like An Oregon Duck

We know De’Anthony Thomas visited Oregon and, apparently, will choose between the Ducks, USC Trojans and Washington Huskies sometime on Wednesday. Thomas is a versatile, game-breaking athlete from Crenshaw High School and has been committed to USC for the better part of the last year. Yet inexplicably, just days before it was time to make it official and put pen to paper on signing day, Thomas appears to be wavering, entertaining offers from other Pac-10 schools.

The rumor of the day on Sunday was that Thomas had de-committed from USC and committed to Oregon after visiting Eugene. The rumors were, and continue to be, just that, but there’s plenty of speculation he could end up in the Northwest, at either Washington or Oregon.

And then there’s this photo (via Swag Sports)

That’s Thomas on the right, rocking the Oregon gear, standing next to Snoop Dogg’s son. What’s it mean? Who knows, but perhaps he just likes the green and highlighter look. There’s also no time-stamp, meaning the picture could’ve been taken minutes ago or years ago. We don’t know the background, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Just another twist to Thomas’ recruitment, which has suddenly captured headlines and the attention of three different fanbases hours before Letters of Intent are set to roll in. For the latest on Wednesday’s events, check out our signing day StoryStream.
