At the end of the first quarter, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III showed people why he was chosen to be the 2011 Heisman trophy winner. After nearly being sacked in the backfield, RG3 broke out for a 24-yard touchdown run evading several Husky defenders in the process. This touchdown gave Baylor a 21-7 lead in the first quarter.
