Stay connected for news and updates

The Baylor Bears have a big contest upcoming against the Washington Huskies, and are trying to finish off one of the best seasons in program history. Whether they can further build upon that to make a big-time run in 2011 will ultimately depend on whether Robert Griffin III decides to return for his senior season. Right now he might be leaning toward the 2012 NFL Draft.

Said on 12/22 things could change and they have- hearing Robert Griffin III had a change of heart and leaning towards entering the draft.

Griffin has had a season for the ages for Baylor, and his draft stock might not be much higher. RGIII has been interested in finishing his degree and maybe even making an Olympic run, but it's starting to look as is both of those will take a backseat to getting to the pros and trying to lead a football team. Given the success of Cam Newton at Auburn, it makes sense for Griffin to try and get into the draft and be the next potential player in that mold--a dynamic playmaker who can dominate from the quarterback position. .
