The ROOT Sports broadcast reports that James Rodgers has a left ankle sprain, and has suffered zero damage to his left knee injury as first expected when he left the field in the second quarter. His status for the rest of the game is unknown, but seeing as he needed help on the field indicates that he is doubtful to return.
Senior wide receiver James Rodgers was carted off the field near the end of the second quarter after an apparent injury his left knee. Rodgers went through two offseason left knee surgeries and almost made it through the entire 2011 season unscathed.
Rodgers was limping off the field with help. This is a sad sight as this was Rodgers' final game on Senior Day in Corvallis for the Beavers.
Before leaving the game, Rodgers logged four receptions for 48 yards. He set the Oregon State record for career receptions with 222.
