Washington Vs. Oregon State Score Update: Huskies And Beavers Tied 7-7 Midway Through First Quarter

Washington Huskies starting quarterback Nick Montana has it easy so far. Head Coach Steve Sarkisian play-calling gave Polk the ball seven plays out of nine in the Huskies first drive of the game against the Oregon St. Beavers.

Montana connected with freshman tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins on a 4 yard play-action rollout touchdown pass. The Huskies moved the ball 70 yards methodically down the field in just under four minutes.

Oregon St. struck right back with a 71-yard 7 play drive of their own. Freshman quarterback Sean Mannion completed a six-yard pass to senior wideout James Rodgers to tie the game up.

The Beavers benefited from two big plays.Rrunning back Terron Ward broke out for a 29-yard run on the second play of the drive, two plays later Mannion found Rodgers for a 25-yard gain, putting the Beavers in Washington's ten yard line. Mannion was a perfect 4-4 with 44 passing yards in the Beavers' first drive.
