College Football Odds, Week 10: A Friday Look At The Pac-10 Lines

With one day left until gameday, let’s take one last look at the college football odds from around the Pac-10. The line for the Washington Huskies game against the Oregon Ducks continued to slide after news of Jake Locker’s injury percolated this week. When the dust settled, Oregon was a 35 to 36.5 point favorite over the Huskies with an over/under of 68.

The Washington State Cougars are still two touchdown underdogs to the Cal Bears, with an over/under set at 53. The USC Trojans are still a seven point favorite over the Arizona State Sun Devils, though the line has slipped to as low as five some places. The over/under for the game is set at 60.

After Oregon State opened as 6.5 point favorites over the UCLA Bruins, the Beavers have seen the line shift toward UCLA. At, for example, OSU is now only favored by 5 points with an over/under of 55. The Stanford Cardinal have also seen plenty of action and the movement in the betting line has reflected that. The Cardinal are now 9.5 point favorites after opening the week favored by a touchdown over the Arizona Wildcats.

Jake Locker Injury Causes Huge Movement In Washington-Oregon Betting Line

The news that Jake Locker will miss this weekend’s game against the Oregon Ducks caused a mad scramble in the betting world. The Washington Huskies opened the week as a four touchdown underdog to the Ducks and the line has moved considerably in the last few hours as bettors scramble to place bets on Oregon in what seems to be a very friendly line.

Since news of Locker’s rib injury trickled out, the line has moved five points in Oregon’s favor. The Huskies are now 34.5 point underdogs in Las Vegas. It will surely continue to move in the Ducks direction as bettors keep picking the Ducks.

With a redshirt freshman making his first career start at Autzen Stadium this week, it will be interesting to see how far the line moves in Oregon’s favor. It just goes to show how much of an impact Locker has on this Washington Husky tam.

College Football Odds, Week 10: Odds For The Rest Of The Pac-10

All 10 Pac-10 teams are in action in NCAA football this weekend, giving us plenty of odds to take an early look at. The Stanford Cardinal take on the Arizona Wildcats in a battle between two of the three top-15 teams in the Pac-10 this weekend in Palo Alto. The Cardinal get the advantage in the early line, opening as a 7-point favorite for the week. The rest of the Pac-10, and the rest of the NCAA, odds can be found here.

USC, fresh off a loss to the Oregon Ducks, hosts the Arizona State Sun Devils at the Coliseum this weekend. The Trojans open the week as a seven point favorite, a small margin for a team that just hung with the No. 1 team in the nation. The Sun Devils won — and won convincingly — in the desert last weekend, dropping the Washington State Cougars 42-0.

Oregon State opens as a 6.5 point favorite over UCLA. The Bruins will host the Beavers at the Rose Bowl this weekend. Oregon State polished off Cal last weekend while UCLA fell at home the the No. 15 Arizona Wildcats.
