Jake Locker Out, Keith Price In At Quarterback For UW

Stay connected for news and updates

In an effort to preserve the health of quarterback Jake Locker, Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian elected to play Keith Price with the game out of hand in the fourth quarter. Locker took a beating throughout the game, taking plenty of hits from the Arizona defense. With Locker hobbled by bruised ribs, Keith Price gets the mop-up duty for Washington.

Locker was 17-29 for 183 yards and a touchdown through the air. Including sacks, he rushed six times for -24 yards.

Price has had plenty of practice experience over the last two weeks, working with the starters as Locker sat out recovering from various injuries. On the season, Price is 2-2 with a touchdown for the Huskies.

In the fourth quarter, Arizona leads Washington, 44-14.
