VIDEO: Vancouver Canucks Fan Throws Female Down During Riots

The riots in Vancouver following the Stanley Cup Finals have been absolutely disgraceful. Downtown Vancouver has been enveloped by a mob, and the mentality of said mob is both scary and disgusting. It's resulted in senseless property damage and physical violence, all because of a lost Stanley Cup. And nothing illustrates it more than the following video.

This was show on CBC following the game, and while it's not a massive mob, it's still disgusting. A male in a Canucks jersey is seen screaming at police as a female companion holds him back. As police approach, the male throws the female to the ground and makes an aggressive move toward the approaching law enforcement officers. The female stays down and appears to be injured as the male goes about charging the police.

There are no words for that. The violence during the riots is reprehensible, but throwing a female to the ground is a whole different level. And doing so to charge police is even worse, and shows the brain-power at work here.

The aftermath of the Stanley Cup Finals has brought out the worst in Vancouver and it's not a pretty sight. Hopefully the crowd comes to its senses, heads home and puts an end to all this non-sense.
