With all results having any impact on the Sounders playoff picture now final, Seattle's opponent and date of their first playoff game have been announced.

Real Salt Lake has confirmed that the first leg of their playoff tie against the Seattle Sounders will be held on Saturday, October 29th at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah at a time to be announced.
