Wilson threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's win over Green Bay.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is up -- once again -- for NFL Rookie of the Week honors, the league announced Thursday.
Wilson helped lead the Seahawks to a 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. The first-year pro out of Wisconsin completed 10 of his 21 attempts and threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns, including the controversial, game-winning, 24-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Golden Tate as time expired
Wilson was also nominated for the award after he helped guide the Seahawks to their Week 2 win over the Dallas Cowboys, 27-7.
This week Wilson is pitted against Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (four receptions, 113 yards, one touchdown) and quarterback Andrew Luck (22-46, 313 yards, two touchdowns), Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris (17 carries, 78 yards, one touchdown) and Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh (52-yard field goal, 3-3 on extra points).
Previous winners of the award include Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson in Week 2 and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III in Week 1.
Voting for Rookie of the Week honors ends at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
