The Seattle Seahawks opened as 1-1/2-point favorites for their game on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

Fresh off their controversial win against the Green Bay Packers, the Seattle Seahawks opened as 1-1/2-point favorites for their game against the St. Louis Rams.

This is the second time the Seahawks have been favored in a road game this season. They were 2-1/2-point favorites against the Arizona Cardinals in the season opener. Oddly enough, Seattle has been favored in both its road games while being the underdog in both home games. Seattle has not been very good against the spread in road games in recent years, going just 7-17-1 over their last 25 games.

St. Louis is an underdog for the fourth straight week although the Rams are 2-1 against the spread this season. The Rams have dropped nine of their last 10 games, but are 3-5-1 against the spread in their last nine home games. St. Louis has not been very good against Seattle recently, straight up or against the spread. The Rams have lost 13 of their last 14 games against Seattle and are 1-9 against the spread in their last 10 games.

The total for this game opened at 39-1/2. Four of Seattle's last five games have gone under while the total has also been under in four of the last six games between the Rams and Seahawks.
