Washington Huskies running back Chris Polk did not get selected during the 2012 NFL Draft, but he's getting an opportunity at the pros. He has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chris Polk signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on Saturday according to several reports.

The former Washington Huskies running back will have to prove his worth to the Eagles organization after not being picked in this past weekend's draft.

Polk was considered to be a third or fourth round pick by many draft experts, but his stock went down due to an apparent degenerative shoulder injury. Steve Sarkisian, Polk's former head coach at Washington was caught off guard by the injury news.

The Eagles also drafted running back Bryce Brown out of Kansas State in the seventh round. Brown and Polk will presumably be fighting for a roster spot during training camp.
