With the 30th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers have selected A.J. Jenkins, a wide receiver from the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The Niners were definitely in need of a wide receiver and it is unclear just how Mario Manningham and Randy Moss will shake out in 2012 and the seasons to follow. Here is what SI.com has to say about Jenkins:

Analysis: Jenkins displayed a lot of improvement in his game the past two seasons and is a natural pass catcher with the skills necessary to be a productive third wideout at the next level.

The 49ers' next pick is the 29th selection of the 2nd round, 61st overall.
