Former Seahawks middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu was in Atlanta today, working out for the Falcons as he continues his quest to break back into the league after sitting out in 2011. Tatupu rejected the Seahawks attempts to restructure his contract prior to last year, instead asking for his release. He then sat out while rehabbing both of his knees and trying to get in a place, physically speaking, where he could come back and contribute for a team.
LB Lofa Tatupu had impressive workout in ATL today, worth noting LB Curtis Lofton may leave ATL as a FA. Lofa worked out before for NO

Tats is a three-time Pro Bowler and was named All-Pro in 2007. His knees have been his biggest issue in the past few seasons, and he also missed most of 2009 with a torn pectoral muscle. He's also met with the Saints, but the Falcons are a likely candidate if they're unable to re-sign their starting MLB Curtis Lofton.
