The Seattle Seahawks offense won't need to deal with the Carolina Panthers' Jon Beason, as he's been declared inactive for Sunday's game.
Beason had been listed as doubtful for Sunday's game due to lingering knee and shoulder issues, and his injury means that rookie first-round pick Luke Kuechly will start for Beason at middle linebacker. Kuechly had been starting at weak side linebacker in Ron Rivera's defense. Gamble is out with a shoulder strain.
The Panthers' offense will also be missing a critical player, with offensive lineman Geoff Hangartner sidelined for Sunday's matchup. The center/guard will miss the game with a knee injury.
