NFL TV regional coverage: Week 5 features Seahawks vs. Cam Newton and the Panthers

TV coverage maps for Washington as the Seahawks take on the Carolina Panthers and elite quarterbacks face-off in New England.

Week 5 of the NFL season features a number of interesting story lines including a matchup of two elite quarterbacks in New England and Drew Brees chasing a record in New Orleans. Let's take a look at the TV coverage maps to see which games Washington viewers will be able to see on Sunday.

CBS Early Game: The early game for fans in Washington will be the Cleveland Browns travelling to take on Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The Browns are still looking for their first win of the season, while the defending Super Bowl champions are 2-2 thus far in 2012. The game will kick off at 10 a.m. PT with Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf on the call.

CBS Late Game: The majority of Washington viewers will see the exciting quarterback matchup of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the late time slot. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will call that game from Foxborough, Mass. A small area in southern Washington will instead see the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Buffalo Bills. Kevin Harlan will Solomon Wilcots provide the commentary for that game. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 1:25 p.m. PT.

FOX Late Game: The Seahawks go on the road for the second week in a row, travelling to Carolina to take on Cam Newton and the Panthers. Seattle is 2-2 coming off a 19-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams last week. Carolina is 1-3 after losing on a last-minute drive to the Atlanta Falcons a week ago. Kickoff from Bank of America Stadium is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. PT with Chris Myers and Tim Ryan on the broadcast.

NBC Sunday Night Football: The national Sunday night game features the New Orleans Saints trying to get their first win of the season as they host the 3-1 San Diego Chargers. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth will provide the commentary for the 5:20 p.m. PT game.
