Safeties Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas return to the ballot after Chancellor was a first alternate last season and Thomas made the Pro Bowl. Defensive end Chris Clemons has seven sacks this season, which is good enough for third in the NFL. Cornerback Brandon Browner with his two forced fumbles and two interceptions appears on the ballot as well.
Also helping the Seahawks' sturdy defense has been field position. Punter Jon Ryan is again booting the football at a 50.4 yard per punt clip, which is second in the NFC. His 41.4 net average is fifth in the NFL.
Then there's the offense, which is held down by Marshawn Lynch and the run game. He is second in the NFL with 735 total yards and tied for third in the NFL with 652 rushing yards. Center Max Unger and fullback Michael Robinson are also on the Pro Bowl ballot as crucial members who have helped Lynch reach his current marks.
