Seattle Seahawks injuries: Doug Baldwin held out, John Moffitt returns to practice

Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE

Lineman John Moffitt hasn't practiced in four weeks since injuring his knee against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.

Seattle Seahawks lineman John Moffitt practiced for the first time in four weeks on Monday, and wide receiver Doug Baldwin was held out of practice after injuring his ankle last Thursday, reporter Curtis Crabtree tweeted on Monday.

Baldwin sprained his ankle in the 13-6 loss against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night, leaving the game with 15 yards on two receptions. The second-year receiver has recorded 149 yards and a touchdown on 11 receptions so far this season. Baldwin has missed one game so far this season after playing in all 16 games with the Seahawks last year.

Moffitt has only played in two games this season after injuring his knee against the Green Bay Packers. Cornerback Walter Thurmond also practiced for the first time in a long while on Monday after breaking his leg last year. Thurmond remains on the physically unable to perform list, and Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll isn't sure when he will be activated, but the Seahawks now have three weeks to bring him to the 53-man roster or place him on the injured reserve.
