Seahawks vs. Steelers, First Half Recap: Pittsburgh Pushes Lead to 17-0

The Seattle Seahawks haven't been able to get anything going thus far against the Pittsburgh Steelers thus far, falling behind by the score of 17-0 after the first half out at Heinz Field, even as Ben Rothlisberger lef the game with an injury. 

Ben went down towards the end of the first half, but didn't miss much action after returning a few plays later. Rashard Mendenhall got the Steelers on the board in the first quarter after capping off a nine play drive with a one run touchdown run. Issac Redman broke open a 20 yard run a few minutes into the second quarter, finishing off a 6 play, 53 yard drive to push their lead to two touchdowns. Then, with less than two minutes to play in the second quarter, Shaun Shisham hit a twenty yard field goal to make it a 17-0 lead heading into the half. 

Tavaris Jackson is 8/11 for 56 yards thus far for Seattle.
