I love it when coaches zing players on Twitter, which is why I love Pete Carroll's latest tweet, aimed at wide receiver Golden Tate.
@ShowtimeTate players play and coaches coach... stop trying to be a coach!
OH DAMN #SHOTSFIRED ALL OVER THE PLACE
Fine, there's actually context to it all and the zing stems from Carroll inviting tweeters to send him a play.
@PeteCarroll put all linemen in the game at fullback ,running back , z receiver and Tight end and throw @ShowtimeTate me a screen or a GO
There's only one way for Tate to answer Carroll's tweet: "Let a player play, coach." Make it happen, Golden.
