NFL Free Agency: Chris Spencer Agrees To Terms With Chicago Bears, According To Report

The Chicago Bears have reportedly come to terms with former Seattle Seahawks center Chris Spencer according to sources, all but signaling that current center Olin Kreutz will be out the door.

According to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Briggs the Bears have signed Spencer to a two year deal, although the numbers of the deal were not readily available. Spencer rejoins Bears assistant general manager Tim Ruskell who selected Spencer out of Ole Miss in the first round of the 2005 draft. This signing leaves another center without a home, Olin Kreutz, who will likely be on the radar of multiple teams after contract negotiations broke down earlier this week. If I had to make a guess I'd assume many teams will be vying for his services, including the Seahawks and 49ers out of the NFC West.

Spencer started 70 games in six seasons with the Seahawks.
