John Moffitt of the Seattle Seahawks was suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Moffitt will serve his suspension on injured reserve.
Might be a good thing that John Moffitt is already injured, because he apparently is in big trouble with the league. Doug Farrar of Shutdown Corner reports on the story.
Moffitt is out for the season, so his suspension won't really cost him any real football action. Still, it does cast a shadow on his accomplishments when the Seattle Seahawks started to become a fairly decent offensive blocking team.
Seattle has a lot of work they need to do to patch things up. They've lost three offensive linemen on their starting unit and are facing some pretty potent defenses in the upcoming weeks. Seattle has made some nice progress to get to the last few games of the season, so it would be a shame to see it all fall apart right before the end. Moffitt will hopefully get it together in time for next season.
