The NFL's uniform code is apparently pretty strict, and as Brian McIntyre tells us, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been fined $5k for his non-regulation neon-green socks.

Though the NFL's fining system does benefit some lucky charities, the amounts levied and the reasons for them is certainly suspect. $5,000 for socks, but only $7,500 for Philadelphia DE Trent Cole's jujitsu move that ended Russell Okung's season two weeks ago. Strange.
