The Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams are squaring off in Seattle in this week's Monday Night Football matchup.In the second quarter, the Seahawks are holding a 10-3 lead over the Rams.
The Seahawks were able to jump out to an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a blocked punt, as Michael Robinson jumped on the deflected ball and returned it 17 yards for a special teams touchdown. The Seahawks later added another first quarter score on a 42 yard Steven Hauschka field goal.
The Rams were able to get on the board in the second quarter on a 46 yard field goal by Josh Brown.
Both teams are exhibiting aggressive play by their defense. In addition to the blocked punt, the Seahawks delivered a huge hit to quarterback Sam Bradford in the first quarter. Initially, it looked as if Bradford may have been injured on the play, but he returned to the game on the following possession.
