Seahawks Vs Browns Injury Report: Zach Miller Out; Max Unger, Tarvaris Jackson Doubtful

The Seahawks will look a little different as they take the field on Sunday, with starting quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and center Max Unger listed as doubtful and starting tight end Zach Miller listed as out. This means that in all liklihood, backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will be taking snaps from C Lemuel Jeanpierre, and TE Anthony McCoy should see a lot of snaps in Miller's stead.

The Charlie Whitehurst option was pretty much expected this week after Tarvaris Jackson suffered a strained pectoral in the 3rd quarter against the Giants in Week Five, but the news that Miller and Unger will probably sit comes as a bit of a punch to the gut for Seahawks' fans. With both of those players out, it's likely that pass protection and the run game will suffer - two aspects of offense that have finally started clicking for this young team.

The good news is that ailing LG Robert Gallery has been listed as probable, along with LB Malcolm Smith, WR Mike Williams, and RB Marshawn Lynch

The Seahawks may have to make some roster moves now that Zach Miller has been listed as out. They have one healthy tight end in Anthony McCoy on the current roster, so it's likely that they'll either sign PUP TE Cameron Morrah to the active squad or lean on Practice Squad TE John Nalbone until Miller and Morrah are back to full health.

If neither move is made, it should make for an interesting game, as the Seahawks will have to adjust by using four and five wide receiver sets instead of their two or three tight end sets.
