Arizona Cardinals' running back Beanie Wells is inactive for today's game and will not play against the Seattle Seahawks. Wells has been dealing with a knee injury and experienced swelling attributed to an allergic reaction earlier this week. It was another setback for Wells, who has still been unable to get up to full speed following arthroscopic surgery on his repaired knee.
Adam Schefter reported the news on Twitter just hours before today's 1:15 p.m. kickoff.
Cardinals RB Beanie Wells is inactive.
Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly. Without Wells, Tim Hightower will carry the load for the Cardinals against a Seahawks' front seven that's been decimated by injuries recently. Defensive tackle Brandon Mebane should be back in action today, giving the Seahawks a boost, but the line is still patchwork in many ways.
The Cardinals and Seahawks kick it off at 1:15 p.m. on Fox.
