Seahawks Recover Onside Kick, Hang On To Beat Bears, 23-20

Stay connected for news and updates

A punt return touchdown and long pass interference penalty were the only real blemishes for the Seahawks in Chicago today. Seattle hung on to win after tight end John Carlson recovered the onside kick following Devin Hester’s punt-return touchdown.

The defense was dominating at times, forcing Bears quarterback Jay Cutler to throw under duress for most of the game. Cutler spent more time on the turf than his feet, with the Seahawks bringing pressure from all angles.

The final score in Chicago: Seahawks 23, Bears 20.
