Arena Proposal Champion Lauches Website, Facebook & Twitter Accounts

San Francisco hedge fund manager Christopher Hansen, the man behind the recent Seattle arena deal proposal that aims to bring the NBA and NHL to Seattle, has recently launched a website, SonicsArena.com, and created a Facebook page and Twitter account meant to rally support and provide understanding of the process. One of the main items on the agenda for all three media outlets, the website, facebook, and twitter feeds, is to promote a rally in Occidental Park prior to Hansen's appearance before the council on June 14.

Said Hansen, on the decision to launch on all three social media outlets - "That's the way most people interact nowadays. It's easy to share thought with friends in a community aspect and there is a certain viral nature to it."

In addition to the social media onslaught on Tuesday, Hansen hit up local radio and television, making appearances on SportsRadioKJR, 710ESPN Seattle and King5News, which are embedded after the jump.
