Mariners Vs. Rangers Preview: Seattle Looks For Rebound In Game 2

Stay connected for news and updates

The Seattle Mariners take on the Texas Rangers in the second of three games at Rangers Ballpark, looking to rebound from Friday night's 9-3 loss. Seattle got a strong start from Hisashi Iwakuma in Game 1, but the bullpen gave up seven runs in the eighth to give the game to Texas.

Justin Vargas (14-10, 3.85 ERA) will look to set the team up for a different result in Game 2. He's struggled this year on the road, giving up 25 of his 32 home runs on the road, and his 4.92 away game ERA is far worse than his home mark of 2.62. Scott Feldman (6-11, 4.97 ERA) will be on the hill for Texas. He's 0-5 with a 5.97 ERA in his last six games.
