All 30 MLB teams released their 2013 schedule on Wednesday as the Seattle Mariners launch the new era in divisional alignment and interleague play against the team jumping to the American League, the Houston Astros.
The M's new AL West rivals will be their home opening opponent on April 8-10 after starting the season with a 7-game road trip against the Athletics and White Sox April 1-7. Following the Astros series the M's will continue their 10-game home stand with four games against the Texas Rangers and three against the Detroit Tigers.
Interleague play will begin May 7-8 at Pittsburgh. The San Diego Padres (two games May 27-28), the Pirates (June 25-26), the Chicago Cubs (June 28-30) and the Milwaukee Brewers (August 9-11) will be the Mariners home interleague opponents. It will be Milwaukee's first trip to Seattle as a member of the NL. Seattle will also travel to San Diego, Cincinnati and St. Louis for interleague contests next season.
