Will the Mariners ride the momentum generated by King Felix's perfect game? They host the Twins for a three-game series.

On Wednesday, the Seattle Mariners and their most beloved player, Felix Hernandez, achieved perfection. It had been a long time coming and will be the single, unforgettable moment in an otherwise disappointing season. The departure of one iconic Mariners player has been forgotten with the demonstrable greatness of another. One that still remains.

The Mariners had a well-earned off day on Thursday before continuing their homestand on Friday against the visiting Minnsota Twins. It might be a time to ride the momentum of the perfecto and exhibit some swagger.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's game will begin at 7:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on ESPN 710. Hisashi Iwakuma had a solid start against the Angels last time out. He will take on the Twins' Nick Blackburn, who is 4-8 with a 7.33 ERA.

First pitch on Saturday will be at 6:10 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on ESPN 710. Left-hander Scott Diamond has been one of the best pitchers for the Twins this year and will bring a 10-5 record and 2.97 ERA into the game. The Mariners will send Jason Vargas to the mound, who looks to continue his solid string of starts and pick up his 14th win.

Sunday's series finale will begin at 1:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on ROOT Sports. You can catch the radio broadcast on ESPN 710. Blake Beavan was knocked around a bit in his last outing and tries to rebound as he takes on the 4-0 Samuel Deduno, who has a 3.38 ERA.
