The Seattle Mariners may have found the perfect cure to blues associated with losing Ichiro Suzuki: a four-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals. Coming off that string of wins, the M's only have to win one of the next three games to secure a winning homestand. Of course, they'd prefer another series win.

As the Toronto Blue Jays come to town, that's what the Mariners will be gunning for. The Blue Jays are homer-happy, but we all know how often that works out at Safeco Field. The M's will try to feast on Toronto's second-string pitching while keeping the Jays in the ballpark.

Carlos Villanueva is a perfect 6-0 this season, with a 2.92 ERA. He'll get the start for the Blue Jays opposite Blake Beavan, who will try to climb above .500 with a seventh win. Beavan has been terrific since being recalled from Triple-A.
