The Seattle Mariners have not been linked to much in the way of trade talk this month -- outside of the Ichiro trade, of course -- but there are some who still believe Felix Hernandez could be dealt. While there is no doubt teams around baseball would give a king's ransom (pun!) for Hernandez, trading their ace pitcher would be an incredibly tough sell to the fan base.
According to Buster Olney of ESPN, it looks like there won't be any blockbuster deals coming out of Seattle before the July 31 deadline.
There has been trade stuff floating around about Felix Hernandez, again, but a SEA source reiterates: "Felix will be a Mariner."

As is always the case this time of year, we'll keep an eye on the trade rumors. The M's might make a small deal or two, but as of right now it looks like King Felix will stay in Seattle for the foreseeable future.
Mariners fans should head over to Lookout Landing for continued updates.
