Mariners Vs. Orioles Final Score: Seattle Rallies Late For 6-3 Win

The Seattle Mariners welcomed the Baltimore Orioles to town on Monday night as the two teams kicked off a three-game series at Safeco Field. The Mariners pulled off some late-inning theatrics to come from behind and walk away with a big 6-3 win.

The Mariners scored the first run in the bottom of the third inning, on an RBI single by Brendan Ryan. Unfortunately, the Orioles struck back with three runs in the top of the fourth, with Chris Davis' 14th home run of the year that put the O's on top, 3-1.

The score remained 3-1 until the bottom of the seventh, when Casper Wells hit a two-out, bases-loaded double that plated three runs and put Seattle back on top for good. The Mariners uncharacteristically tacked on two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth, thanks to back-to-back homers from Miguel Olivo and Dustin Ackley.

Steve Delabar pitched two scoreless innings out of the bullpen and got the win for the Mariners, coming on in support of starter Hisashi Iwakuma, who gave up three runs on three hits and three walks in five innings of work.
